Minimum hardware requirements
Any
Pentium-based PC will run OfficeHub but the following specification is the minimum
recomended requirement:

MS Access
OfficeHub uses the
Microsoft Access data engine. Each machine on which OfficeHub is to be used
must have a copy of MS Access installed on it. If
you do not have MS Access installed on your PC then the OfficeHub installer
will detect that MS Access is not present and it will launch the setup program
that installs MS Access Runtime on the computer. If
a copy of MS Access is detected on your PC then the Runtime is not installed
and your existing MS Access installation is used to run OfficeHub.
The following versions of Access are supported:

Note: If you have Access
97 installed on your computer then the Runtime will not be intalled by the
OfficeHub installer. If this is the case OfficeHub will not be able to run.
The solution to this problem is to uninstall MS Access 97 before istalling
OfficeHub (the installer will then install the Runtime). It is then possible
to re-install MS Access 97 after the OfficeHub installation.
Network
To
use OfficeHub in a multi-user environment you will need to have a network on
which to share the database.. A
network is not necessary if OfficeHub
is to be used by a single user.
Backup system
It
is vital to have a backup system for OfficeHub. A backup system should be used
for all business information being stored on computers. If you do not have a
backup system, you may find this
document useful.
